Hodgdon Powder offers the largest selection of quality smokeless propellants for any reloading application.
TITEGROUP is a double base, spherical propellant that was designed for accuracy. Because of the unique design, this powder provides flawless ignition with all types of primers including the lead-free versions. Unlike pistol powders of the past, powder position in large cases (45 Colt, 357 Magnum and others) has virtually no effect on velocity and performance. Cowboy Action, Bullseye and Combat Shooters should love this one! TITEGROUP has it all, low charge weight, clean burning, mild muzzle report and superb, uniform ballistics.

I have only used Titegroup for reloading in the .45 ACP. With the recommended load from the Reloading Manual, I have found that with both the 210 and 230 grain bullets that this is an excellent choice for accuracy. This is not a “dirty” powder like some other “ball” powders. It meters very well in a progressive loader and has worked well for me within min/max loads as stated in the Sierra Reloading Manual.

The name of this powder is exactly the results I got. Getting a 2 inch group out of a snub 38 which is something I could never achieve with factory loads. A little powder goes a long way with this too.

This is a powder for typical handgun rounds; it is not a rifle powder. And for its intended use, it’s given me very good results. I use it in .38 Special, .44 Special, .45 ACP, and .45 Colt. .45 Colt, you say? Yes! This powder was designed specifically for constant burn rates in the larger cases, no matter where the powder ends up in the case. It’s likewise a good performer in 9mm Luger. Like W231, TiteGroup is one of those really versatile powders for the non-magnum cartridges. Been using it for about the last 11 years. Like all powders, you don’t want to go too low so that you actually do burn all the powder, but TG is actually pretty reasonably forgiving in this regard. Always check your reloading manuals (of course)!
