Raymond Billade –
This round is little hot but is consistent.
Use for hunting the round is a little hot but is consistent. Good enough to use for hunting for factory load not knowing what powder was used and how many grains used
Franky Junior –
This ammunition raises the .45-70 to a whole new level. Both in my model 86 and my Sharps it becomes a solid 200 yd cartridge with devastating impact.
Gasper Tedy –
I bought two boxes of these from Grizzly which had Hawk bonded core bullets. Of three different rounds these were by far the most accurate in my Marlin 1895SBL at 50 yards. Sub 1 inch 3 shot groups and was dead on to the peep site system that came with the rifle. Shot the 460 +ps at the same time and the 350 is noticeably more comfortable to shoot, but both were less than my 300/&mm mags. Great hunting load.
Christopher james –
I bought this planning to use it for deer season this year. On the first trip to the range with my open sighted Marlin my first 3 rounds were exactly to point of aim and in a 3″ group. Not bad for a 66 year old pair of eyes!
Headly green –
Shot very well at the range. 1″ groups at 100 yards (scoped Marlin 1895). It does pack a serious kick, but I knew what I was getting. I have only shot it once while hunting, took a ~120 lb hog at 15 yards, clean pass through, serious blood loss, dropped in his tracks. Though I don’t have a long list of kills yet, I look forward to using this round in the future
